Chakrabarti Advanced Technology (CAT) is a privately
funded R&D Institute that conducts basic
scientific research on areas of high global impact.
Founded by Dr. Raj Chakrabarti (AB, Harvard; PhD,
Princeton; formerly Professor of Chemical
Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University and Purdue
University), its focus areas include:
Our research has led to the development of
cutting-edge technology platforms for drug discovery
and development as well as for the development of
associated companion diagnostic tests.
In addition to conducting internal research, it also
collaborates with leading academic institutions and
research centers on high impact external projects.
